In 2016, Kishi Bashi released his critically acclaimed third LP, Sonderlust. Renowned for its playful arrangements, whimsical production, and Kaoru Ishibashi’s distinctive pop sensibilities, Sonderlust is an album forged through heartbreak that remains one of the artist’s most personal and artistically adventurous works to date. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Joyful Noise is proud to present a special reissue, featuring two bonus tracks from the era along with previously unreleased demos of all ten original songs.
